Will never step a foot in the door again! We heard mixed reviews of the place and decided to give it a fair shot. So we figured a dinner at 7pm was about as fair of a time as any. We even told the waitress that it was our first time so that they would have an edge to give us at least a decent experience. Their response to us telling them that... "okay". Yep, not even a "Welcome to street's!" for us. For this 7 o'clock "dinner rush" we were the only table there with the exception of another couple leaving, not a good sign. After the waitress serves us our drinks with her bandaid falling off of her finger, my wife orders the fried chicken and makes her way to the salad bar and I order a shrimp po'boy. Not the hardest of dishes to get right. The salad bar with it's limited selection can't even afford real bacon bits and is only stocked with cheap and wilting iceberg lettuce. The bandaid bandit then delivers our plates and then disappears without filling our drinks because she's got a phone call. I take a bite of my po'boy only to taste the old nasty grease THROUGH the bun! I open my bun to see added to it are tomatoes that are spongy and old. Mmm that will go nicely with my refried french fries that are mostly burnt and covered with grease! My wife then picks up her chicken to see it LITERALLY dripping with old nasty grease! She squeezes it to try and make it better and the grease just pours! Imagine wringing out a wet towel. We decide to not eat our food for fear of our arteries clogging and just pay our overpriced bill and leave. The man at the counter (on his cell phone) and the waitress make no mention of this, don't ask us about our food and just let us leave. As we get in the parking lot we see them lock the door and shut off the lights even though they aren't supposed to close for another hour. We should of just listened to our friend that said that "Street's gives free diarrhea with every meal" and we would of saved ourselves this expensive and horrible dining experience! Never again! First and LAST visit!

Blackened fish is too salty. Fried oysters are good, and the large order is a gracious plenty. Hush puppies are not good. This was my second trip and less great than the first one. The service is friendly and prices are fair. I'd probably go back simply because the choices are extremely limited in this area, although now there is a Shrimp Basket down the street - always dependable seafood.

Every town has a place where the local "Old Man Club" meets for coffee, gossip, and reviewing the local geriatrician within sight of no less than 2 Sheriff's deputies. In Bay Minette, Alabama that place is Street's. It's not very good, but it's the perfect distance from the beach to make you stop and eat here. The parking lot is usually full of pickup trucks which is usually a good sign. Here it's more of a mirage. The atmosphere is divey diner all the way, with that small-town bonus of being extra cluttered with bric-a-brac and the staff's personal belongings. The mayonnaisey salads on the bar were kinda gummy looking and the tomatoes were cut up at least a couple days ago. I'll probably stop back in next year too, but I can't really recommend it to you.

Grilled Shrimp are excellent! Burgers are 100% ground chuck! Crab Claws and Steaks are best around! Excellent service! Don't be afraid to ask what to order! Very friendly staff!

Some people Judge a book by it's cover, If you wonder why this place has so many regulars, you obviously didn't taste the food! The Sunday Night Breakfast Buffet is life changing.

The food is alright but I was misled by the sign, "if you missed streets you wasted your trip." The restaurant is a good value but not great food.

Breakfast buffet hit the spot. Great greasy spoon if you left the beach after a long night and need to temper the vodka. Be warned, however, the entire county law enforcement division was in attendance.

I fail to understand why so many people still eat here. It is incredibly unclean. The last two times I was dragged here, I saw a mouse in a corner and a roach crawled up the wall next to my table. Barfville. Expect mediocre southern-style food served in a school cafeteria atmosphere, if you decide to dine here.

Went here for a business lunch (we all know the sort of business that is in Bay Minette so it was a nit depressing). This Is NOT my sort of food. Only 2x a year for a I crave a meat and three sort of meal. But this one was pretty darn good. The portions were god, not overly-salted and the selection was good. Expect to eat a huge chunk of meat with veggies for days. I am also not a tea drinker, so that seemed to cause a little confusion. There is no way I could have created this food in my kitchen at the same price (or the mess) . Every now and again we ned to have our "Little Prairie" experience and this is a good one.

This place does not deserve 1 star. Not even 1/4 star! Looking for a seafood restaurant and Streets is listed as a seafood restaurant; but it's business is focused on the southern food buffet. What a disappointment. We drove 35 miles out of the way. What a waste. The place is nasty. Can't say enough; it is dirty. This is a place for 60+ year olds. We were youngest in restaurant by a generation.

I like this little place. Good seafood prepared in a very traditional style. Good cold sweet tea, nice service, and decent prices. Tasty and well prepared.

Crappy food, horrible smell, flys everywhere. Horrible service, waitress walked away from us in the middle of sentences when someone else would need something. Way too expensive for the quality of food. We got in the car and said "That place was disgusting I hope we don't die." Waitresses head was in the clouds. Take my word, never go there in your life.

Food was good. I didn't have any seafood so maybe I should go back but the buffet was a pretty decent southern lunch. I'd suggest it to anyone to try at least once!

We almost didn't stop because of the few lackluster reviews - BUT oh, what we would have missed. Coming home from the beach on a Sunday afternoon: our options were limited and our appetites were hard to please. Thanks to the wonderful Sunday Buffet (menu items still available too, just not our choice) we were 100% satisfied. All the country cooking you can imagine and a huge dessert buffet too. Sweet tea was just right and the great waitresses and waiters kept our cups filled and kept the empty plates cleared off the table to make room for whatever we were going back for next. Glad we stopped and we will be back on our next trip! You should stop and enjoy it too.
